Inner Practice: Four Mantras of True Love - Second Mantra

As a continuation to this series of Four Mantras of True Love, a mantra is not addressed at anything or anyone external and is entirely devoted to transforming hope into an intent which brings more energy to put things into action.  Read the First Mantra of True Love here.

Here is the second mantra that we should practice daily or as frequently as possible for developing the wisdom to love and the ability to love truly.

Second mantra: “Darling, I know you are there and I am so happy.”

In the first mantra of true love, we bring ourselves to offer our true presence first. Therefore being right here and now instead of being preoccupied with the past and future is the very first step to love.  Because if we are fully there, we recognize that the presence of our beloved is something very precious.

To be there is the first step and recognizing the presence of the other person is the second step.

Because nowadays we text more than we talk, we talk without looking into the eyes of the other person, we are physically present beside a person but our hearts are miles away.

If we can first to be fully present, we are then able to see our beloved with full mindfulness and in doing so, he or she will bloom just like a flower. This is the second step of how we truly love. For the other person to be loved, they need to be recognized as existing.
