Inner Practice: Law of Cause and Effect

Many people may get angry and hold resentments because of what others did to us, especially things that hurt us or things we loved. That is the norm. How do we deal with that?

Especially in these uncertain times now, I believe most of us experience how people can turn 180 degrees around because of self preservation or any good reasons. Or people just behaving in a way that we simply cannot understand. Friends to foes, lovers to haters. Or vice versa! That's the reality. We can't control how others behave but we can control our perspectives and perceptions.

Someone once told me that there is really no need to get angry over other people's actions, because the Law will get the hold of them. What Law?

THE Law of Cause and Effect.

Being a scientist as well despite my love for energy woo woos, when we say Law, it means the Truth. Of how the world works. Of how energy works. There is no dispute and no one can manipulate it. Energy never dies. It just transforms.

What goes up, must come down. What goes around comes around. So really, why fret?

And if let's say energy will take care of the do-er of any deeds, good or bad, it also implies the more good you do, the more good will come back to you!

So my theory is to break the cycle of negativity, always start with yourself by doing or simply thinking of the positive. Because that will set off the positive feedback loop rather than spiral down the negative ones.

Remembering that the Law is out there working without you interfering.

So whatever happens, smile, relax and enjoy your journey.
