Bazi Fengshui Series: Three Areas of Fengshui to Practice on Yourself - Part 2
This is a sequel to Bazi Fengshui Series: Three Areas of Fengshui to Practice on Yourself - Part 1
Heart Fengshui
The second area of Fengshui is the “heart Fengshui”. This area of Fengshui is more important than the face. As mentioned before, a person’s appearance is determined by the heart. In fact, the heart is like a field. Whether the heart is a fertile field or a barren wasteland sets a person’s entire life's harvest. In this field, will you choose to sow the grains of kindness, gratitude, tolerance, and honesty, or allow the weeds of jealousy, resentment and greed to grow wildly?
Weed Our Hearts
Many people suffer misfortunes not because they are stupid or lazy, but because their hearts are barren and overgrown with these weeds. When a heart is filled with weeds, the appearance is not beautiful and such people are unable to speak kind words or attract good people and events into their lives. Therefore, we need to learn to "weed" our hearts by changing our mindsets.
Everything has its yin and yang sides. When something happens and we feel unlucky, that is us taking the yin side. But if we change your mindset and consider if we are learning something out of it, we are taking the yang side. Once we change your mindset, our entire world shifts.
Resentment becomes reflection.
Jealousy becomes motivation.
Transform these negative energies into positive ones, and your heart will gradually be purified and enriched.
Sow Gratitude Seeds
Apart from learning to weed our hearts, we need to learn to sow the seeds of gratitude, because nothing should be taken for granted. Our parents' upbringing, our friends' support, and the platform that society provides us—none of these should be taken for granted. We must be grateful. When we begin to feel grateful, we will discover how much we possess. The more grateful we are, the richer we become. This is the richness of the heart. A person with abundant inner wealth will naturally exude a peaceful and attractive aura.
Sow Tolerance Seeds
We also need to learn to sow the seeds of tolerance. The larger our heart, the larger our world. The more tolerant we are of others, the more we are able to pave new paths for our future.
If we constantly dwell on others' mistakes, the one who will ultimately suffer is us. When we let go of others, we liberate ourselves. Therefore, the key to maintaining the second Fengshui of the heart lies in "cultivating the mind."
Conclusion of Heart Fengshui
By changing our mindset, we can clear the weeds from our heart.
Through sowing seeds of gratitude and tolerance, we can grow kindness.
Cultivate our heart to be like a vast, fertile field, capable of accommodating and nurturing all things. At that point, we won't need to seek wealth. It will naturally come, because "all things ride on virtue (厚德载物)."
Only when our virtue and our heart are sufficient can we bear such great blessings and wealth. Otherwise, even if we are given the blessings and wealth, we won't be able to hold on to them, and they will too slip away.
