Inner Practice: Trials and Tribulations

Challenges, changes, trials and tribulations.

Most people will frown at the hearing of these words. Because they have a connotation of pain and suffering.

Indeed.

Trials and tribulations do not happen without its purpose. Some can turn out as benefits. Here are some:

1.       You get to have the chance to identify the people who are true friends who can be by your side not only in good times, but also when your world crashes to rubbles.

2.       You get to revise the realities of life and know that there are indeed sick people around.

3.       You get to exercise your compassion and kindness towards yourself and know that Karma will take care of things at the end of the day.

4.       You get to learn to treasure some things that you have been taking for granted all this while.

5.       You have the chance to reevaluate and reprioritize your life.

6.       You get to develop mental muscles from being stretched and challenged to an extent that you thought you may just become permanently crazy.

7.       You get to realize the power of belief.

8.       You get to rediscover your potential as a human being.

If you are going through a hard time right now, remember: seek help and support, keep yourself healthy and trust that something good will come out of this for you.
